Damnation of Adam Blessing Shows - April, 2007
This is just to let you know that I'll be in concert (guitar & keyboards) with The Damnation Of Adam Blessing for two shows. The first date is Friday, April 27th at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland. The second date is Saturday, April 28th in Akron at Tangier.
For those who might be unfamiliar with The Damnation of Adam Blessing, they were an incredible rock band that I used to listen to when I was first learning to play. As a matter of fact, when I recently was called to play this date, I didn't have to think twice -- I still have two vinyl LPs by D.O.A.B. in my collection from those days. I never dreamed that someday I would be playing shows with them.
Their career produced 4 incredible albums -- one of which was "on the charts" in Cleveland at the #2 position (second only to The Beatles "Abbey Road", and above Led Zeppelin's second album!)
If you can imagine combining elements of The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Grand Funk Railroad, The Guess Who and even some Jimi Hendrix and Crosby, Stills & Nash ... that will give you an idea of the musical genre. But there's no need to imagine, you can hear them for yourself, via their website. You can also read more about the band, and will find ticket information there, at www.myspace.com/damnationofadamblessing .
For those of you who enjoy classic rock, I look forward to seeing you on either date!
